👋 Ohhhh, new members, followers and connections – time for a little re-introduction 👋
… and invitation.
I firmly believe our working days should be fulfilling and more than ‘getting by’ or ‘making do’.
I also know that remote work or working from home, being part of distributed teams can be a positive game-changer for both individuals and organisations.
So driven by that belief, I help teams up their online collaboration game to tackle challenges and deliver results.
I facilitate, train, and mentor so that people can work better together, online, wherever.
——————–
In 2018, I felt fatigued by lengthy commutes, extended travel, eating on the move and being office-based for the ‘busywork’.
I was feeling a sense of inefficiency and simmering burnout.
I knew it could be better, but I didn’t know how.
So, I started to explore tools and play with ways of working productively online.
Some dismissed my curiosity and the feasibility of remote work in the facilitation and consulting industry, so I tinkered in my own time.
I found a crowd and learned loads.
Then, the pandemic forced us all home to work and online.
It was like I had a head start and could quickly adapt to the situation in a productive and fulfilling way.
My background in agile and change acted as my guide, helping me to create, test, learn, adapt, share, and help others.
During and after the pandemic, my team and I have thrived and continue to grow by helping global organisations tackle their challenges and improve outcomes.
We remain a fully distributed team with no set office, working across many time zones. I even moved to a new country for fresh adventures.
Whenever we do our thing, we keep it free of jargon, accessible and interactive.
It’s exciting.
And … I’m taking over our company newsletter as of this week.
My ambition in this weekly newsletter is to share and get into the conversation.
I’ve got loads to share and learn – so I’m sharing as I go.
Articles, insights and tools.
I’ll keep it simple – a ‘3 Bullet Friday’ approach will contain context and links so that you can scan it in a few seconds and follow the content that interests you.
