An unconference is a unique approach to large gatherings that is meant to subvert traditional, hierarchical conference structures by giving power back to participants and letting them determine what is discussed and who discusses it. It might sound a little scary but unconferences are a great way to bring people together who share similar problems and create a shared space that is more inclusive, creative and empowering for everyone involved. 

Unconferences not only sound great in theory, but we have years of experience designing and running unconferences of varying shapes and sizes. In fact, we were involved in setting up the very first ever unconference in an online format.
