Most of our team started life working in Government Services or International NGOs. We’ve faced many of the challenges our clients continue to face on a daily basis.

Our team is motivated by facilitating interactions that build solutions to the world’s most complex problems.

Our work is often messy. It requires a deep and varied set of skills and experience. The ImpactBasis team includes remote consultants, virtual events managers, coaches, facilitators, trainers and experts on building transformative change.

Matt’s superpower is getting people rapidly engaged and focused to create solutions to complex problems.

His passion, energy and enthusiasm are contagious. Because people can feel that he truly cares, he is able to build trust to tackle issues that were previously undiscussable.

Matt did his 10,000 hours in facilitation and problem solving with difficult youngsters in UK social care. Since then he has worked as a consultant and facilitator for various organisations, including Cognizant Consulting and Lloyds Bank.

Rick is a leader in the field of Adaptive Leadership. An internationally renowned coach, he helps individuals and organisations tackle deep complexity.

Based in the USA, Rick has been building his unique practice in the field of Adaptive Leadership for over 30 years. His career has included over 10 years of direct involvement with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, alongside work inside the US health care system, 12 years in the financial sector in New York and Seattle, and as Programme Director for The Change Leaders.

Rick’s focus is on building capacity to lead and building in the face of a complex changing world. His ability to bring people tooogether, to enable clarity where there is chaos and to unlock the potential of individuals and teams needs to be seen to be believed.

Dennis’ career started as a youth worker. Dennis is an expert on Agile, particularly on building agile, self-organising teams. Over the last 10 years he has helped many public sector organisations embrace Agility. He now uses his expertise to coach remote teams to do the best work of their lives and to build adaptive hybrid organisations.

Passionate about the sustainable delivery of change, he worked as an organisational change consultant for organisations such as Accenture and Agilisys, working with clients including: Flemish Community (Belgian regional government), GE Capital, Lloyds TSB, Motorola and Norsk Hydro.

He holds an MSc in Consulting and Coaching for Change from HEC Paris and University of Oxford. His dissertation (distinction) developed a new model for change interventions that has been recognised and used in the field.

Cristina is a multi-disciplinary coach and facilitator with a knack for making collective endeavours the best they can be. Extensive experience in supporting self-organisation while strengthening personal capacities for (online) collaboration.

She has supported dozens of actors globally, across sectors, both online and offline, in making their events, collaborations and interventions purposeful and powerful.

Darine is a consultant for behavioral, organizational, and systemic change with more than 17 years of professional experience across cultures, and economies, in the Middle East region, North Africa, Greece and Turkey.

Darine has held several leadership positions in the pharmaceutical and consulting industries, including general manager at L’Oreal for Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq, leading sustainable growth amidst instability and change.

Now her main focus is on developing and delivering curricula for virtual capacity building, coaching and collaboration in a variety of sectors, including health and education. She has worked with UNICEF, the Ministry of Health in Jordan, the Ministry of Education in the UAE, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and the American University of Beirut (AUB) among others.

Darine is passionate about creating emergent virtual spaces for social change. She believes in using online collaboration to overcome silos, and experiment with integrating seemingly opposite approaches, frameworks and change methodologies.

She has a strong interest in the economic empowerment of women as well as the broader diversity and inclusion agenda. She is part of the UK delegation to the Women20 (W20) – an official engagement group of the G20 – as well as member of a group of senior women developing the economic blueprint for women and enterprise (entrepreneurship) for the UK and to this end she participates in a cross-party working group at the House of Commons to address this issue.

Thea Hazel is a change leader with more than 20 years experience as a program manager, consultant, facilitator and coach for transforming organisations and changing people’s behaviour.

Thea has spent much of her career in the business education sector, responsible for transforming operations, as well as implementing new roles, a Lean way-of-working, customer focused training and management development. Thea also directed a financial education start-up, using co-creation with the young target audience to develop online behavioural change interventions.
